Playstival Is An Inclusive and Accessible Festival
Playstival is working with AsIAm, Ireland’s National Autism Charity, to create autism awareness throughout and to promote accessibility within the festival. AsIAm will provide a dedicated sensory friendly chill out zone in Airfield House and this low-lit calm space will be open to anyone who would like to take time out from the busy festival atmosphere. The AsIAm team will also be on hand to chat about all things Autism.
The provisions as advised by AsIAm will be available to help plan your day at Playstival:
Assistance dogs are also welcome onsite. Please note this is the only exception. No pets or dogs will be allowed at Airfield Estate.
A sensory map of the festival will be available pre event and onsite.
Coloured wristbands will be given to attendees who register to require support.
There will be a separate entry and queuing system, please let Playstival entry staff know you have registered for support.
Signage regarding neurodiversity will be available throughout the site to help.
Airfield Estate is wheelchair accessible.
Wheelchair users, please note that many of Playstival’s activities will take place in grass fields.
Blue badge parking is available but are limited parking spaces onsite.
